Terms of Service
Effective August 4, 2026
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you (and, if applicable, the organization you represent) and ResponsiveMe governing your access to and use of responsiveme.com and the ResponsiveMe application (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Acceptable Use Policy.
2. The service
ResponsiveMe provides AI-assisted writing, Excel Studio (spreadsheets), BI Studio (reporting), Automation Studio, and related workspace tools. AI-generated content is a draft, not professional advice, and may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying any generated content before relying on it or sending it to a third party.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at the contact page if you suspect unauthorized access. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account.
4. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service only in accordance with our Acceptable Use Policy. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or that policy.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of the content you submit to and generate through the Service (“Your Content”). You grant ResponsiveMe a limited license to host, process, and transmit Your Content solely to provide and improve the Service (including sending relevant portions to the AI providers described in our Privacy Policy). You represent that you have the right to submit Your Content and that doing so doesn’t infringe or violate any third party’s rights.
6. Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans are billed through Paddle, our Merchant of Record, which handles payment collection, applicable tax/VAT, and invoicing. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until canceled. Prices and included usage are shown before checkout. Canceling stops future renewals but does not itself refund the current period — see our Refund Policy for how refunds work. One-time “lifetime” purchases grant ongoing access to the purchased plan’s features for as long as ResponsiveMe operates that plan, subject to fair use and these Terms; they are not a guarantee of any specific feature remaining unchanged forever.
7. Plan changes and failed payments
You can upgrade or downgrade your plan from Billing settings; changes are prorated through Paddle. If a payment fails, we’ll notify you and give you a reasonable opportunity to update your payment method before any downgrade in access takes effect.
8. Availability and changes to the service
We work to keep the Service available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, add to, or discontinue features of the Service, including features you currently use, with reasonable notice where the change is material.
9. Intellectual property
ResponsiveMe and its licensors own all rights in the Service itself (excluding Your Content), including its software, design, and trademarks. Nothing in these Terms transfers any of our intellectual property rights to you except the limited right to use the Service as intended.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from Settings → Security. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, including after a reasonable opportunity to cure where practical. On termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately; provisions that by their nature should survive (ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, dispute resolution) continue to apply.
11. Disclaimers
The Service, including all AI-generated output, is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that generated content is accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular professional, legal, medical, or financial decision.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ResponsiveMe will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or 100 USD if you have not made any payment.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold ResponsiveMe harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from Your Content, your use of the Service in violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which ResponsiveMe is legally established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless a mandatory local consumer-protection law gives you additional rights where you live. Any dispute not resolved informally through the contact page within 30 days will be resolved through the courts or arbitration process applicable in that jurisdiction.
15. Changes to these terms
We’ll update the effective date above when these Terms change, and provide reasonable notice of material changes before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
16. Entire agreement; severability
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Acceptable Use Policy, are the entire agreement between you and ResponsiveMe regarding the Service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
17. Contact
Questions about these Terms can be submitted through the contact page.
