Set Up Two-Step Verification (MFA)
Add an authenticator app (TOTP) to protect your account with two-step verification.
Last updated August 13, 2026
ResponsiveMe supports real two-step verification (TOTP, the same standard used by most authenticator apps) as part of our broader security approach.
To enable it:
1. Go to Security in your account settings
2. Choose "Set up authenticator"
3. Scan the QR code with an authenticator app (or enter the secret manually)
4. Enter the 6-digit code it generates to confirm
Once enabled, sensitive actions (disabling MFA, revoking all sessions, deleting your account) require a recent, verified sign-in. You can disable two-step verification at any time from the same page, and you will get an email confirming any change to your MFA status.
